Terms and Conditions
Please review these terms before using our service
Effective Date: 22 January 2026
1. Introduction
By signing up for our service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. This agreement governs your use of our GPS tracker dispatch service and horse registration platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to register for this service. SandyHoof is currently designed for personal use by individual horse owners. Access for trainers, veterinarians, and commercial organisations may be introduced in future versions of the service.
3. Registration and Account
You agree to provide accurate information during sign-up, including your name, email, phone number, and shipping address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
4. Tracker Dispatch
After registration, we will dispatch GPS tracker devices to the address you provided. Delivery is expected within 5 working days. If you do not receive your device, please contact us at hello@sandyhoof.com.
5. Horse Registration
Once you receive your tracker, you may register your horse against an assigned tracker ID. You agree to use the tracker only for lawful and personal purposes.
6. Subscription and Billing
Your subscription fee is based on the number of active horses you track using our service. Each active horse corresponds to one tracker and one billing unit. Subscription charges are processed automatically through our payment provider on a recurring basis. By registering a horse and assigning a tracker, you authorise us to bill you for the associated subscription unit. Prices and billing intervals are displayed during checkout and may be updated in accordance with Section 10 (Changes to Terms). If you add additional horses to your account, your subscription quantity will increase accordingly, and your billing amount will be adjusted on a pro‑rated basis.
7. Removing a Horse and Subscription Adjustments
If you remove a horse from your account, the associated tracker will be deactivated and your subscription quantity will be reduced. This change takes effect immediately and will be reflected in your next billing cycle. If all horses are removed from your account, your subscription will automatically end at the conclusion of the current billing period. You will retain access until that date, after which no further charges will be applied. Removing a horse does not entitle you to a refund for any portion of the current billing period unless required by applicable law.
8. Tracker Use and Deactivation
Trackers must be used only with horses registered in your account. If a horse passes away, is sold, or is no longer being tracked, you must remove the horse from your account to ensure accurate billing and device management. Deactivated trackers will no longer transmit data and should not be used until reassigned to a new horse.
8. Fair Use and Misuse
You agree not to tamper with, modify, or misuse the tracker device. Any attempt to circumvent subscription billing, falsify tracker usage, or manipulate data may result in suspension or termination of your account.
9. Data Usage
We collect and store your registration data to provide our service. We do not sell your personal information. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and software associated with this service are owned by [Your Company Name]. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any damages resulting from the use or misuse of the tracker device, delays in delivery, or technical issues with the platform.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or misuse the service.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
